Master
Certification levels
We offer three different levels of certification: Professional, Expert, and Master. These certifications are designed to validate the skills and knowledge of professionals working with Adobe Experience Cloud marketing solutions.
Professional Level
Professional certifications validate that a candidate has a foundational understanding of Adobe’s digital marketing solutions.
The certification exam covers basic concepts and functionalities of Adobe Experience Cloud.

- Delivery: Online proctored (requires camera access)

Expert Level
Expert certifications are for professionals who have a more advanced understanding of Adobe’s digital marketing solutions.
The certification exam covers more complex concepts and functionalities of Adobe Experience Cloud, including implementation and troubleshooting.

Master Level
Master certifications are for professionals who have an in-depth understanding of Adobe’s digital marketing solutions and have demonstrated expertise in multiple areas of Adobe Experience Cloud.
The certification exam covers advanced topics and scenarios, including complex integrations, customizations, and troubleshooting.

Business Practitioner

Business Practitioners are responsible for designing, executing, and managing marketing campaigns using Adobe Experience Cloud solutions.

They should have a foundational understanding of Adobe’s digital marketing solutions, as well as experience in marketing and advertising.

Developer

Developers are responsible for implementing and integrating Adobe Experience Cloud solutions into an organization’s technology stack.

Renewal prices: Most certification renewals are free of charge. For certifications that do not have a free renewal option, you must retake the full certification exam to renew your certification.
Paying by voucher
If you do not already have a voucher in your account, you will be prompted to purchase one at the time of scheduling by clicking on the Purchase voucher button and following the payment prompts.
Alternatively, you may purchase a voucher before you schedule your exam from the Adobe Certification Voucher Center.

Exam information
Your legal name in your profile MUST match your name on your government ID. If the names do not match at the time of the exam, you will need to schedule a new exam at an additional charge. To update your legal name, you must submit a support ticket at least 72 hours in advance of your exam appointment.
Candidates must modify their exam appointment themselves. Neither Adobe Support nor Meazure Learning can process rescheduling and cancellation requests.
To reschedule or cancel your appointment, go to the exam page and click on the Schedule or take exam tab.
- IMPORTANT Government ID information:
- Your legal name in your profile MUST match your name on your government ID. If the names do not match at the time of the exam, you will need to schedule a new exam at an additional charge. To update your legal name, you must submit a support ticket at least 72 hours in advance of your exam appointment.
- Make sure your government ID is accessible. Soft copies or digital IDs are not allowed.
- You may use an ID with non-Western characters.
- Run your system test and install the Guardian browser from Meazure Learning’s website.
- The Guardian browser must have permission to use your camera and microphone, to share your screen, and to let your proctor take over your computer temporarily.
- Double-check your time zone in your profile.
- Be early! Your proctor will start your session precisely at your appointment start time.
- Prepare your desk space. Remove any additional monitors, electronics, books, notebooks, papers, etc. from your desktop.
- Turn off your pop-up blocker before starting the exam.
- Plug in your computer.
- Close all applications except the Guardian browser. Your proctor will direct you to open the task manager to show that no other applications are running.
- Note: If you are disconnected, you will receive an email notification from Meazure Learning Support to assist with reconnecting. There will also be a chat icon within the Guardian browser so you can reach Meazure Learning Support directly.
For Adobe ColdFusion exams ONLY, please note the following rule exceptions:

- Candidates are allowed to open and use the Adobe Captivate application.
If you fail to pass an Adobe certification exam on your first attempt, you must wait at least 24 hours before retaking the exam. Failure to pass an exam on the second or any subsequent attempt requires a waiting period of 14 calendar days before retaking the exam. Each attempt will incur a separate exam fee.
Badges
After you pass a certification exam, you will receive a digital badge. This badge serves as tangible evidence of your proficiency with Adobe Experience Cloud products. By displaying it on your social media profiles or resume, you can showcase your skills in these applications. When someone clicks on your digital badge, they will be taken to a webpage verifying that your certification belongs to you, as well as what skills it is associated with. This allows you to prove your accomplishment to your supervisor, potential employers, and clients.
To view your badges:
- Go to My Account.
- Click on the Achievements tab.
- Your badges appear in your Trophy case as well as in the Active certifications section.

Renewing your certification
We are simplifying the certification renewal process to make your experience more convenient. While we implement this new process, renewals are temporarily on hold.
For those whose certifications expire between October 14, 2024, and September 30, 2025, your certification is being extended until October
1, 2025.
Details regarding the updated renewal process will be shared in early March, ensuring that all certification holders will have adequate time to renew their certifications.
